Cauliflower, Cheese and Shrimp
Cauliflower, Cheese and Shrimp (140)
Yields: 8 Servings
- ½ Cup Butter
- ½ Cup Flour
- ½ lb. Cheddar Cheese
- 6 oz. Small Shrimp
- 1 Head Cauliflower
- Bread Crumbs
1. Make roux of butter and flour. Add enough milk to make it a thick sauce.
2. Stir in nutmeg and all but ¼ cup of the cheese. Stir in the shrimp.
3. Blanch the cauliflower. Put cauliflower into a 9x13 pan and pour cheese mixture over the blanched cauliflower. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and remaining cheese.
4. Broil until brown and crispy.
