Brazil Nut Date Cake (117)

3 Cups Brazil Nuts – Shelled
1 lb. Dates – Pitted
18 oz. Cherries
¾ Cup Flour
¾ Cup Sugar
1 Tsp. Vanilla
½ Tsp., Baking Powder
½ Tsp. Salt
3 Eggs

1. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in the nuts, dates and cherries.

2. Mix the eggs and vanilla together and our over the nut and cherry mixture. Mix well.

3. Bake in a well-greased loaf pan for about 1 ½ hours at 300 degrees F.

4. Slice with an electric knife.
