Balsamic Reduction

Yields: 1 Cup

1 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons butter, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1. Bring balsamic vinegar to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
2. Reduce heat, and simmer about 15 to 20 minutes or until reduced to 1/2 cup.
3.Stir in 1 tablespoon butter; set aside.
